I will be moving to Denver and would like to know the most central area to live (since I don't yet know where I will be working)..somewhere that would easily access all parts of the city?? Also, what would the commute time be from downtown to the Cherry Creek area in the a.m.? Thank you for any advice

Well, LoDo is THE most central area, but it's pricey. Any city neighborhood will be fine, rent an inexpensive place first, then a permanent place when you know where you'll be working. What kind of work do you do?

I have lived in both Downtown and Cherry Creek..drive time in regular AM traffic is typically ten- fifteen minutes. They are doing some road work along speer across from Denver Country Club that has slowed things down here the last few weeks, but that is only temporary.Platte Valley,Lodo, Baker,Governors Park,parts of Capital Hill,uptown 17th.-19th..would be my choices for absolute most central neighborhood to look.

Good suggestions on central neighborhoods. Assuming you are working in Denver proper, those are right in the middle. Be careful if you get a job working in outlying areas as you'd then have a 'reverse commute', but I've known plenty of people who do that as well.
