Do you consider Denver progressive fiscally? What do you like about it as a progressive city? What are the people like socially? Are the people "clickish" and/or "pretenentious"? Or are they really socially liberal meaning "socially liberal"? Like in the nightlife scene or entertainment setting?

Denver as a whole is liberal politically- people here are courteous in general but can be a little pretentious in the suburbs. Suburbs don't exactly count though as "Denver". The nightlife ranges from classy (downtown) to trashy (Glendale in the south), Denver is fairly socially liberal but not nearly as much as some other cities.

Pretentious? The term "progressive" is one of the most pretentious words out there.

What does "fiscally progressive", does it mean being generous with other peoples money, giving away what others produced then smugly patting yourself on the back for your benevolence, all the while complaining that everyone else is so stingy? Or does "fiscally progressive" mean investing in enterprise, creating wealth and raising the overall standard of living rather than lowering the standard of living for many to "equalize it" North Korea style (which for some is as "fiscally progressive" as you can possibly be)

Denver tends towards a libertarian bent which is typically socially more liberal and fiscally more conservative. People tend to confuse the socially liberal portion to being "wholly liberal". One of the reasons Colorado in general is not rotting to the core is its relative fiscal restraint. "Wholly liberal" enclaves are typically in serious financial trouble as spending other peoples money is an easy vice that eventually cripples all economic activity as there is no reason to produce if some moral busybody will "decide" that someone else needs/wants whatever you produce more than you need/want it - in essence, legal theft. Michigan, California, New York - "fiscally progressive", unemployment some of the worst in the nation. For overall economic and personal freedom, Colorado is the best in the nation:

Mercatus Center at George Mason University - Freedom in the 50 States: An Index of Personal and Economic Freedom (http://www.mercatus.org/PublicationDetails.aspx?id=26154 - broken link)

I think you will find Denver to be fairly individualist, as is the spirit of the west.

If you are a generous person, who "progressively" gives of themselves more than they ask/demand/take from others. Then I think you will find Denver, and CO in general a great place.

One more point, I have often found that people who are open, caring about others, and welcoming, usually find the same. Conversely, those who are the opposite, usually find the same.

I assume this means:
Is the City of Denver promoting new policies relating to taxation, public revenues, public debt, and city financial matters.

Its a very strange question if this is what you are asking. I'd refer you to this law that relates to the entire state plus the cities and counties:

Taxpayer Bill of Rights - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Colorado is one of the few places doing this.

Is TABOR a progressive law? Is it a good law? You read up and you decide.

Also, here is the Annual Report for the City and County of Denver for the last 7 years:
http://www.denvergov.org/controller/...3/Default.aspx

Read up and determine for yourself if you think Denver is fiscally progressive or liberal or conservative or whatever.
