I heard there were some in Colorado and wrote some broker who calls herself the highrise specialist but no response.

A condo hotel basically is where an investor buys a unit and when they aren't there it gets rented out by the management or private parties- usually by the night. They are common in Las Vegas.

Not common in Denver. There is one hotel that sold their 4 penthouse units downtown.

Not common but heard there were a few. There are a couple of these in the resort areas. Thanks though.

Denver does not have what you are looking for..save a few projects that will manage your condo for you on longer term basis. Rent out your condo ..even some resort style locations here are often bound by stringent HOA and covenant requirements. In this down market. it would really be nice for owners/and investors to have more varied options like the kind you are seeking. The New Four Seasons condos maybe an only option..not totally sure ,but I am doubtful.I know of some people that rent their units in Portifino,Prado,Glasshouse..on a short term basis, but not sure if they are abiding by the rules in doing so.
