I HIGHLY recommend checking out these three clips (about 10min each) showing how Detroit is not dead, very interesting! it is johnny knoxville, but NOT anything remotely similar to jackass

I've only watched the first one so far, but it was great!! Very interesting. Almost makes me want to move there and try to make a difference (key word: almost).

Thats awesome, and something the real media would never ever show. And like michigan83 said, it almost makes him want to move there and make a difference....well if more people would see the positive things like in this video, more people WOULD want to move there and make a difference.

My parents moved from Windsor in 56 when I was 1 y, I grew up in SW Detroit and it was a wonderful place to live then. I stayed until 83, but had seen the decline start in the early to mid 70 (thanks in great part to Mayor Young IMO). It was wonderful seeing the videos, it gives me hope that my Detroit is going in the right direction and making a comback. Thanks to all the young adults that are bring life into a once great city, I sure would love to be alive to see the vibarent city it once was again.
