The ten-year effort to build an 11 foot tall RoboCop statue has finally come to a close, but now it is looking for a home because the Michigan Science Center backed out of its plan to locate it on its grounds.

Where would you like to see the statue?

On the Riverwalk?

In front of the Police Headquarters?

Somewhere else in Midtown?

Thrown into the Detroit River?

Below is insightful article on the interesting story of the statue's development:

Riverwalk would be neat.

Campus Martius maybe?

Put it on top of the First Independence Bank building.

Ren Cen could use it. There is not much to look at in there.

Corktown likes quirky stuff. Can you put it on the old tiger stadium property someplace?

They are building a big park/lagoon thing along Riverwalk behind Salvation Army. that would be a neat place for it.

If you do toss it into the river - make it part of a dive park.

Wherever it goes, someone will come along and want it removed for some silly reason.
