This one in Detroit?
Narrowing it down to major intersections/city would have been a lot more helpful.

Not a great neighborhood. Why are investors buying houses without site visits?

I used to stay with my siter on Pelkey and 7 mile. My brother in law was shot and killed in 2002 so my sister left and moved to Georgia. It's all bad over in that area by Pelkey, Hickory,Joann and Fairport. Don't even waste your time investing over there because it's nothing but trouble.

I see you're in CA.

Bid4Assets Auction 418961 : Detroit, MI - 3BR/1BA Single Family Home - Absolute Auction!

For $500.00 the house probably needs major repairs.
The new owner is also responsible for $3200.00 in back taxes and $199.00 closing cost.

If I were you, I'd default on the purchase.

Do a google search for the street address. Then do a street view of 7 mile road. You'll see a lot of abandoned buildings and empty lots where buildings once stood.
