Its because all the people who lost their jobs at the BIG 3 are spending their Buy-out package. It may also be all the welfare people cashing their checks at the casino.

Detroit/Michigan is a DEAD CITY/STATE...wait...guess that is why I moved out of that God-forsaken place.

Um, this isn't a good thing. You have a region with double digit unemployment and casinos that draw primarily from the local community.
