I agree with you. I don't know why they even bothered mentioning it. None of us are that naive to believe their song and dance. I don't know how anyone else feels in this country. Personally I feel like I am worth no more to the Govt than tax revenue. They could care less if the Insulin that those of us that must buy it to live, cost $35 or a $1000 everytime we fill our script.

This problem is so serious I am sure there are Americans that are dying because they can't afford their insulin.

I'd love to know why Insulin is so much cheaper in other countries vs the USA. Since countries other than the USA have National Health Care perhaps their drugs come with these plans, or they have a much smaller copay than we do. The cost of Insulin in this country has been going up dramatically the past few years. Even the needles for the insulin pens and the glucose testing strips are outrageous costs now.

i dont think most Chinese and Indians are getting cheap insulin or free insulin but India does have a large drug company which makes generic,my experience is that their quality is poor (dunno about insulin) and I would not use them

doesn't your insurance cover insulin? 230.00 seems outrageous.

I don't think insurance should be needed for insulin. Health insurance should be for catastrophic medical events not as a cash cow for a crooked industry.
