Found this thread looking for information on loose leaf tea. Recently I started with loose tea. Looking for online shops that sell samples or small amounts or sampler packs.

There's a site I used to buy from before our town got a real honest-to-goodness tea shop here run by a very knowledgeable British woman. It's called adagio.com (am I allowed to post a link here? I don't know; I'm hoping since it isn't a "competing site" that it's ok) and they offer sample sizes as well as 4-, 8-, and 16-oz sizes. Some of their samples come it sets, for example, a set of 6 sample sizes of green teas, oolongs, herbals, whites, blacks, etc., and the samples make about 6-10 cups if I remember correctly. There are many other tea merchants online but I don't know about sample packs from them. I'm sure others will respond, though.

I resteep often. I find black tea and room is do not resteep well, but many herbals, oolong, green and white resteep well. Some take in different flavors each time.

They are good and stocked in a few of my local groceries. I am also a fan of David's tea. Teavana masks what is actually in their tea. Not very transparent.
