But salad
is veggies! OK there is fruit salad but fruit is still a vegetable (strictly speaking).
There is a misconception that we need 'so many' calories to function. We do not. Most people already have all the calories they need stored in/on their bodies. The whole idea of 'dieting' is to use up those calories. One needs to consume
fewer calories than the body requires, in order to lose weight. The slimmer you are the fewer calories you need.
