Yes. Its called your BRAIN!! Use it and it'll not only stop you from eating too much, but it will also stop you from eating sh*tty foods!!
When I started using my brain to create grocery list of healthy foods and to learn about nutrition, it really set me on a fantastic path to great health and fitness. Too many people allow their emotions to rule them and/or their "feelings" (i.e., "I eat because of my depression....") and this is always bad news. The brain, when used, is an amazing amazing thing.

All very well and good if you don't have a Trauma Brain...! Say Thank You to your parents!
I've been using a simple and easy way to feel full during the day when I either do not have time to get something to eat and/or it is not time to eat and I want to avoid just grabbing anything that is available in order to feel full.
I eat 5-6 spoons of dry oatmeal and within minutes, I feel full and do not have a desire to eat and/or seek out unhealthy food.

There is PGX, it's soluble fiber (?) and you drink it before meals with water and then you get full WAY faster. Many people lose weight with it. It's also good for diabetics and pre-diabetics as it slows down the absorption of sugar into the blood.

NO! I say thank you to myself for not allowing excuses and/or the easy road out. Of all the people I have trained over the years, those who got this were the most successful in both the short term and LONG term when it came to their eating habits and weight loss. Has nothing to do with "trauma brain".

No excuses!!!
And I'm sure you do a great job helping out people who don't need help. The people who truly deserve admiration and praise are those who know how to reach, help and inspire the weak.
