I'm always thinking about WHY people do what they do. And I think the reason why people are always anguishing and saying, arggh! How many calories do I eat? There's so much conflicting information! is because they are SO afraid that they will eat X amount of calories (a low number) and they might not lose quickly and then they'll be thinking, arrgh, I suffered for nothing!
As humans, we will need to do this through trial and error. I know for me, if I eat less calories, I will lose, and I will lose quickly. My issue is not being able to eat only that X number of calories. I just can't get there, to where I really plan it out and stick with it. Although I have to say, for some crazy, lucky reason, I have cut way back on dessert-type foods in the past couple weeks! I have not had a desire for them at all! Yayyy! It has been very helpful. I finally just today saw the number on the scale I've been waiting for for like EVER! All last week I did much, much better with my budget of 1500 calories. And, I worked out about 5 days!
