probably with all the hooplah iwth the dangers of treats from out of the coutnry...
personally i save the $12 a bag and instead spend about 50cents a lb and buy plain uncooked pig ears from the butcher/grocers/local slaughter house...give em a wash an stick m in the oven on low for a few hors like you would when making any other jerkey and tada your own pig ears with no added salt (a VERY common addition to the pet company pig ears) or preservatives and they cots a fraction of the already made ones...

Good idea. I have been making chicken jerky. Get chicken breast, slice it and put in a dehydrator. I will make pig ear jerky for the first time tonight. Thanks.
in the dehydrator depending on how large you cut the strips they can take a while, a whole pigs ear can take 3-5 days in the dehydrator (about 5 hours in the oven) but they WILL jerkify hole in the dehydrator, just need that little extra time

Yep. I put pig ears in the dehydrator last night. This morning, I am not sure whether they are done. If use oven, at what temperature? Thanks,
