Do you ever talk to your dog on the phone? (cats, home)

Yes.......I call home and talk to her on the answering machine.

Yes I do. I go out of town by myself periodically, and my husband holds the phone by whoever's handy when I call. He always says they wag their tails.

He only calls me when he wants me to pick up some treats or to complain about the cat next door, and it's usually when I am busy at work. I stopped picking up when I see who's calling.

When I am traveling and gone for a couple of days I do talk to them on the phone, but not typically day to day.

Yep, me too. I talk to her in my most irritating babytalk voice, and she licks the phone.

It's a wonderful habit to cultivate. You never know when your dog might need to hear your voice, or you might need to believe that he/she understands it's you...

Omg I am so glad I am not the only one. I talk to my dogs occasionally when I am out of town. My husband always tells me they get happy when they hear me. Of course he also tells me I am the crazy dog lady.
