Why don't you have your dogs go on your own lawn completely first before walking them?

I've seen many owners walking their dogs down the sidewalk, and my lawn becomes part of the peepee/poopoo roulette.

On lucky days, I get only one dog going on my lawn.

The non-designated dog park is 0.5 miles away. By the time they get there, dogs have completely gone at the neighbors' lawns!!

Dog owners want their dogs to pee anywhere except their own lawn.

I'm assuming by using the word "lawn" you actually have grass? Who would walk onto uncomfortable rocks when they could pee on a nice bed of grass?

I have a strip of grass. Don't matter. They still poop on the rocks.

My Dog has free roam on my back yard lawn all day and night yet he still prefers to pee and poop away from the house on our evening walk. It must be a territorial thing. ( and yes I do take a baggie to pick it up)

I currently rent a house and maintain the front yard. I don't like that I am stepping on places where I know dogs have went. Also my young kids occasionally roll on the lawn.

I see the dogs like to go on a nice patch of green. You can't control that. Most owners will allow their dogs to do that instead of pulling them away.

You know, it is instinctive for a dog urinate everywhere, right? They mark territory. You could probably train it out of them, but it would be like training a man not to look at cleavage. (It'd be a lot of work and you'd have a very unhappy man)

The pooping is what it is. If they gotta go, they gotta go. Owners need to keep baggies with them to clean up after their dogs. My dogs are pooping factories.

ETA: Female dogs that have been fixed often develop leaky bladders. So there's that.

That is a huge pet peeve of mine. I cant understand why people think its perfectly fine to let their dog use someone elses yard as a toilet. If I was you I would get one of those motion sensored sprinklers or A yard stake sign.

I have trained my dog to only poop in the road. It is not possible to stop them peeing on bushes etc unless you walk in the road.

Yeah I have three dogs, and I used to walk them around my neighbors houses (before moving into an apartment). Whoever these people are that are having their dogs pee in your yard have done some training. My dogs go on whatever grass they find first. They're not picky enough I guess.
