I talked to my sis n law and told her that gardener.
I found out a little more. When he had this problem before they took him to the ve and he was sent home w/ meds and they were told to keep him hydrated.
I guess it happened another time and they called the vet and those directions were followed again
This last time they went through the same procedure and he just didn't make it.
They've looked into it and the breed has genetic colon problems. ...poor little dude!
So sorry to hear about their sudden loss Kelly. I think the posters had some good ideas that it could of been a blood vessel or just some hidden genetics issue. Give them our thoughts and prayers, this has to be so tough on them because of the suddeness of it while they're out of town. Remind them not to feel guilt for not being there, but just heal and go out and bring another dog some happiness when they're ready.. They brought him happiness for his short life and he brought them happiness too.
I am scoping the pounds ready to send them dog faces once they move.
=)
I know its very hard and private. We lost our kitty in January and I just wanted to wor things out on my own.
