I had an Aussie who could sail right over the baby gate without touching it. One now just shoves it till it falls, which messes up the doorway.

I used to board my horse at a barn with a long hallway of stalls housing riding horses.

One of them was a small smart Arabian and he was an escape artist too. He learned to unhook his stall door, then he'd go along to all his friends and let them out to play in the hallway. It was a wee bit of a mess down the hallway in the morning from what I heard. Poop, hay and pails all over the place.

Oh to have a surveillance camera back then would have been great to watch.

He did this a couple of times until the owners put a special locking mechanism on his door to keep him and his pals in. ha!

My horse Anya is like that. My BIL took it as a personal affront (he installed the gates) and has tried numerous things he was convinced she couldn't undo. I just double wrap a rope around the gate and tie it well.

I do too, but it is a love / hate relationship.

I remember seeing a video shot at an animal shelter. The workers would come in in the mornings and many of the same dogs would be out wandering and the cages open. They set up a camera and watched it all go down. There was a greyhound that could open her cage then she would go around the room and let her friends out....Party Time!
