because an observant new vet found a tick!!!! Incredible story. And a cautionary tale. it might be rare but tick paralysis happens and we all should know about it.
I'm very happy that someone thought about tick paralysis, but I'm shocked that this student was the first one to think of it. My vet told me about this years ago; it's not that uncommon.
There are some deadly species of ticks in this country. Frontline may be expensive, but it's well worth it.
