I'm devastated. A couple of days ago my dog got really sick. We took her to the vet, who took some tests and told us we had to take her to the emergency clinic. It turns out she has some blood disease, also something wrong with her immune system. The vet told us she's extremely sick and there's a 50/50 chance she'll survive. . I can't even express how sad I am, she has been with me since I was a little girl and she's such a special little thing. The house is so different without her. I miss her so bad. I visited her today at the hospital and she's stable right now, but it just broke my heart seeing her connected to those IV fluids and her sad little face. . If she dies I'll die right along with her.

I am so sorry to hear about your pet. I know when the time comes for my girls to travel on without me, I will be devastated. Something in your heart will die if she dies, but I hope and pray she'll be okay.

My Lab had cancer surgery two years ago and I was terribly upset and during that time, I was so worried about her. She's doing fine now, but I always wonder, "Will that nasty disease come back?"

Please keep us posted on her condition.

When your pet is your best friend and really a part of your family it is more than devastating! Had a beloved dog poisoned with antifreeze by a neighbor. We rushed her to the vet who hooked her to IV's and she didn't make it. I spent three days not eating (a record for me-I eat all of the time and usually eat a lot more when I'm upset about something). It was a tough time.

Maybe knowing that there are others who know your emotions you are experiencing in your crisis, will somehow help. I'm truly sorry you have to go through the ordeal. My sympathy!

I am so sorry your fur-baby is sick. Even though part of me goes with them, the rest of me says it was great having that baby and I want another one to honor their life.

My prayers are with you! I hope she pulls through this. My little Persian Maggie cat of 17 years took her last breath and died in my arms last year in the vets waiting room. I was devastated.

From what you're saying it sounds as if she has autoimmune hemolytic anemia. I'm so sorry you have to go through this. It's never easy. Hoping for the best for your best friend.
