Zoo too million $$$ contest results... (rescue, adopted, cats, keep)

Does anyone remember a contest about a year ago that zoo too said they would give a million dollars to a rescue group for dogs/cats contest ???
It was narrowed down to 3 rescue groups, and the winner was announced on the Morning show with Mike & Juliet.
The winner was "STRAY RESCUE OF ST LOUIS".

I heard yesterday that zoo too has not followed thru on their promise, and they have only given the rescue group $3000.00, and this was recently, because lawyers had to get involved in the case.

Founder Randy Grim is just beside himself. All the man wants to do is help these dogs and find good homes for them. A nice large building was donated but some company in St. Louis, and Randy has had to let the contractors go, because the funds have not been received yet.

You might remember the story/book about the miracle dog Quintin that refused to die in a gas chamber and he survived. (Randy & Quintin were both on Oprah).That is when Randy came forward & adopted Quintin and founded the Stray Rescue of St. Louis org. He refused to let another dog die in a gas chamber. He finds good homes for all these dogs. He gets donations to keep this wonderful org operating.

So what is with zoo too ????? Maybe if enough people complain, they will follow thru with their promise & give this org. the million dollars they won last year.
