I have noticed from time to time puppies being advertised on the classifieds forums and wondered if these were accidental puppies or the result of deliberate breeding.
I know from personal experience that accidents happen and I am so embarrassed to admit it happened to me (yes I should have known better) just over a year ago and I needed somewhere to advertise them. I wasn't out to make a profit, but I did charge for them and all of them found happy homes. I'm still in touch with their new guardians, get to dog sit one of them once in a while, live close enough to one that we all met on their Birthday in September and went for a long walk together on open wooded land. Believe me when I tell you I checked these people out and went to their homes first...I was so lucky because just based on their emails I liked the ones I picked, but boy did I have some scary ones.
People need a way to find homes for their pets, but I hope back yard breeders aren't making a buck and unnecesarily adding to the over population of pets in your country.

City Data has no way of determining who is breeding for what purpose and we surely don't have the time to track it all down. There is no advertising allowed in the state or general forums, only in Classifieds.
Think of this as a huge daily newspaper (with an awfull lot of editorials). We have a free Classifieds section, people use it. There's your answer.
