Any Deutsch Drahthaar Owners? (retriever, training, breed, water)

I'm looking to get one this spring. currently I only waterfowl hunt but will definitely get into upland hunting when I get the dog. Just curious if there's any other city-data'ers who have one.

You should go over to the Retriever Training Forums. Dominated by Retrievers of course, but great place for all kinds. I've got a Flatcoat that is just starting upland, and we're having a ball. Good luck!

Thanks, I'm on a lot of hunting/bird dog forums with lots of top trainers etc. There is an extensive network or clubs for this breed and I've been in contact with some already so I'm not at a loss for info, just curious if anyone on here owned one.
