LADERA RANCH, Calif., Jan. 14 (UPI) -- Authorities in Orange County, Calif., said a couple detained an alleged home intruder for sheriff's deputies by having their 180-pound Great Dane sit on him.
Lt. Ted Boyne of the Orange County Sheriff's Department said the husband, who was in a cast due to recent leg surgery, used his crutch to attack Zachary Chanoski, 22, after his wife discovered the alleged burglar in their Ladera Ranch living room at about 2 a.m. Wednesday, the Orange County Register reported.
