Yea! They said that the other home didn't work out and said we can have her if we still want her! I'm very excited and nervous at the same time since I didn't have a dog in years. But I'm a stay at home mom who has the time to care for and train a dog... So tomorrow I will go and get all the stuff I need, let me know if I'm missing anything:

2 leashes (one for the back door and front door since we don't have a fence system yet)
stainless dog bowls
dog bed thing to go in her crate
a couple of toys
some bone thingys that she likes to chew
a bag of dog food (they are feeding her science diet, should I try to switch her to a more premium brand?)

Here's the link again if you want to see her

She is adorable, Sandycat.

I read her history. I am beyond words when it comes to describing what human beings do to animals.

She is going to be so comfy with y'all and you will be, too.

Thanks for giving her a good life.

She is beautiful. I wish you a lifetime of happiness. Maybe some dog biscuits?

Oh wow!! Many congrats to you and your family! I can feel the excitement through my screen!
Does she have a collar? Name tag to go on the collar? (your name, addy and telephone # or contact #)
I would stick with the SD for now...don't forget, lots of changes coming up for Sugar. If you want to change her, do it slowly adding a mixture of the two foods, increasing the new over the old.
Please, keep us posted. When will she arrive?

Glad you finally were able to get her, she's beautiful, and a lucky girl. My first dog was named Sugar also. Enjoy your puppy!

Congratulations! She is simply adorable. I can see why you fell in love with her. I was so afraid things might not work out for you, so I've been sending good thoughts your way. I remember how thrilled we were when we found our darling dog and I can tell from your post that you are just as excited as we were. Isn't it thrilling to get a new family member to love and cherish?

Am thrilled for you, was hoping so much that this would happen. Would just add getting a tag for her with your address and phone #'s (it doesn't matter if her name is on it if you're not sure if you're keeping the same name or will be calling her something else). Maybe a Halloween bandana w/b fun for her since it'll be her first Halloween (would even send you one as I have an extra but I doubt you'd get it on time but DM me if you're interested and I'll be happy to send it anyway). She's a real cutie, congrats to all!
