I am hitting the road now to go down to the good folks at West Warwick Animal Shelter (RI) where I suspect the animal control officer has me on speed dial.
I'm picking up George- I posted his photo a few weeks ago when he was recovering from his hard life on the street. He is now well enough to get his vaccinations, got his rabies, and is good to go. He also recovered from Lyme Disease.
At ten, I bought him a big poufy bed, but three of my other four thought the big bed was very cool, so I might have to buy more.
I'm taking Artie with me, who I got from West Warwick two years ago. People loved him so much, and he couldn't get adopted because he growls at new people for a day or so. I can't wait for them to see how happy and healthy he is at 12.

I sincerely hope to learn how to use my new digital camera with Mac attachment to post pics of the gang.

Into the crate with you, Miss Nayla! I know you'll tear the place up while I'm gone.

Adopted German Shepherd Dog: George: Petfinder

I did a search to find out what George looks like.

He looks tiny. Is he really a German Shepherd mix?

George looks like a sweet dog.

RI native here!!! Best wishes on your new addition! My previous dog Lucy (she passed away at 14 1/2, three years ago) came from the Coventry Animal Shelter! Sounds like George is one lucky dog!
