I recently purchased an item off eBay, however the item itself wasn't working properly. Seller stated in the listing that it was in mint condition. Anyhow, I couldn't get it serviced with the warranty so I requested the seller to issue me a refund even though seller says no returns.
I told the seller everything that had happened(it was a cellphone btw) but they still refused to refund my money so I filled out an eBay claim. That didn't work out and they ruled in their favor. So I appealed and I get a message from eBay telling me I know it's frustrating and such.
At this time I was already mad and frustrated because eBay has NO contact numbers, no email addresses, no nothing. Their chat is no help at all.
So I contacted my bank and told them what happened and did a fraud investigation.
That was $365 spent on a device that's not functioning properly and the carrier won't honor their warranty so I really had no choice but to contact my bank.
