Seems ok
no annual fee.
2% cash back on purchases. No restrictions
Rates are a bit high but if you pay when the bill comes due it's inconsequential.
Backed by synchrony bank which I never heard of.

Any insight. Not that I need another card

Citi 2% cash back is a good name brand card to have. I used the insurance on a purchase and it saved me $350. Not sure what benies the PayPal card has.

Synchrony Bank seems to have a bunch of specialty cards. We have a Lowe's credit card and that's where it comes from. Never had a problem so far.

Any card Must be used for non expected expenses, not for paying groceries or enterteinment, the less cards you have the less money you lose.

Says who? Maybe someone who doesn't have a handle on their finances has that spending issues but if a person is responsible with their finances what difference does it make how they pay. I don't carry a cc balance month over month. And I don't buy things I don't need. There are plenty of people who use a cc and don't impulse buy

I used to use my ATM or cash for everything. Now I use a cc for all my internet shopping. Then I pay it at the end of the month. Hasn't failed me yet. It's too easy to skim a ATM card these days. That's why I stopped using it. I had my ATM skimmed a few times and while it was all figured out I am not going to have someone drain my checking account while I try to figure out how to stop it. Makes no difference to me as I pay my bill at the end of the month. The time I pay cash is local purchase. My wife still tends to use a ATM locally but she uses it as a cc
