"Payment Status - Not Available We are unable to provide the status of your payment right now because:
We don't have enough information yet (we're working on this), or
You're not eligible for a payment."
This after getting EIPs 1 & 2 ontime, and tax refund, and SS payments, all direct deposits. And I am well under the $80K cutoff, especially after not having to take an IRA RMD for 2020
(sigh) my tax dollars at work
Wow. Just checked "Get My Payment" and now it says:
"We scheduled your payment to be deposited on March 24, 2021 to the bank account below."
SSI resource limit of $2,000. Not that it really matters. I know there are exemptions for stuff like this. But still I like to keep my account in compliance, so I don't have explaining to do later. If it doesn't come before the end of the month, I'll be over anyway.
My daughter is getting temporary welfare of a few hundred a month. She was worried too. Trust me, welfare people qualify. They know you're on welfare. It was one of my gripes, I felt people on social security and social security disability like me also shouldn't get it. My hub who was out of work most of last year should qualify. I felt it should not include anyone that was not affected by COVID, including myself but that's not how this works.

I notice that the IRS is no longer providing a link to check the status. Just this message.
No, try it again. Click on Get My Payment, then follow the prompts to see what it says.

IRS apparently very backlogged.
We normally owe the IRS. With the 1st check, I had to keep going to get my stimulus in order to put our bank account into it. Since then, we've had no issues getting our deposits. Best suggestion is keep going to the get my stimulus web site.
Try going to google, type in get my payment, go there from that link, see what it says. If it's the same then it could be the device you're using. Are you on a cell phone or computer? If computer what browser? I'm using firefox with windows 10, no issues.
With a cell, if an android, are you coming to the thread using an email link then clicking on it? If so, you may have to actually open your cell browser then google get my payment. Hopefully that helps.
Tried on computer with Linux and with Windows, and using Chrome and Edge browsers. Same result.
EDIT: Tried once more using my Android smartphone, and it worked. I think the issue is that if you have a computer that enables switching between a VPN and ISP-provided IP address, it will not work.

Glad it finally worked. I had a feeling it was the device you were using.
A friend received his this last Wed via direct deposit. I've got zip. Didn't get the previous one, the $600 one either, so getting my tax info ready for my accountant, to claim it on my return, is my project for this coming week. I had a name change last spring, so I'm wondering if that's what gummed up the works, though I sent in the relevant document with my return last year.
Sure could use that nice big, juicy $1400 one! I hope I get it eventually.
