What is stealing America's future is the inability vast swaths of Americans to turn off Entertainment Tonight, get an education and do a job that requires some intellectual rigour so that the banks don't have to bring in better educated people from abroad. Oh wait... they're all going to get "discovered" on American Idol so don't need to study.......

Not all Americans are stupid and lazy. To think that we all watch the nonsense on TV is ridiculous. The banks and other corporations have friends in high places in Washington D.C. and they are using them. Obama will be no different than his reassesses. He might be liberal on the outside but he is big money and special interest on the inside. People will just continue to loose their jobs.

Bear Sterns and Lehman Brothers both went belly up and all those employees fired. So given that, don't you think there would be no need to bring H1-B's here ? With job losses near 500K, don't you think there are a few educated people that could fill the bank's needs ?

If you read the article a bank spokesperson said they were in need of sales, lending and bank administration..doesn't sound like any specialized type skills you could only find abroad does it ?
