Jim Cramer said last night in his show Mad Money that China is the world's new super power and soon they will displace the U.S. and the dollar in world business. He stated that he knows people in U.S. won't like to hear it but that it is inevitable and we need to learn how to make money in their world.

Do you agree? Why or why not? If so, do you think their dominance will be sustainable?

Kaching! That is the sound of Cramer missing the mark on this one!

China may be the newest rising deveolped country but they have so many problems at home to deal with that becoming the new "superpower" is a no go.

America may loose it's luster if we don't stop pooping in our own nest ,by being a world bully, but America is still so rich that we'll have to take ourselves outta the game. Sadly, Washington & the neocons of business are doing just that.

They have been a superpower since the 1970s. Why else do you think Kissinger went over there? By definition, any country with nuclear arms and a large army is a superpower. How they have handled themselves and presented themselves is a different story.

Anyone who watched the Olympics over there and the massive presentation and technological wizardry and still thinks the country is NOT a superpower is living in a dream world.

Didn't they just announce a trade deficit? I guess it depends on how much domestic demand they have for their production.

"they have so many problems at home to deal " They aren't going to deal with their problems. Nothing is going to stop them, no pollution controls, no safe working environment mandates, etc.

see unfortunately if they have issues in their country, like lack of healthcare, etc.... they don't care. Since their record for human rights is pretty lame. If their citizens want healthcare, oh well. The disabled there can't even get a measly pair of crutches out of the govt.

This goes for India as well.

jim cramer is a salesman, selling a product. first i would like to point out a quote:

Now many countries are saying that China is good and hope that China will emerge, but honestly we are still a developing country. Don't over estimate the fact that we have almost 2 trillion dollar in our foreign exchange reserve. If you take that amount and divide it by 1.3 billion people, how much per head is that? Therefore, we truly need to conduct our own affairs well." (Hu Jintao in 2009)

i saw an interesting video on china and the hedge funds:

Cramer is such an idiot and moron. However, that he has a show with a rating above 0.0 suggests that America does have its fair share of ignorance.
