Is anyone else working on these? We have to have one completed for math by May and it is frustrating me. I am struggling to see how it is going to help me teach the curriculum. Our admin keeps telling us that the core standards are going to dramatically change the way we teach but I am not seeing much of a difference, other than a much greater focus on constructive math.

For instance, for multiplication I have separated the nouns and verbs into our table and am studying the skills to see what it is requiring students to know and what it is requiring them to do. But in real life you can't separate and compartmentalize these things. They have to be taught fluidly for true comprehension.

Does anyone have a completed curriculum map I could look at for the multiplication strand? Or any advice on how to "unpack" these things?

We did those years ago. We no longer need them with district pacing guides.
