The state I am in is a little obsessed with the STAAR testing. I have been in other states that are not. However, my daughter has said on multiple occasions the teachers and pricipal have threatened to hold them back if they do not pass. Is this right?

My daughter is very bright. She receives mostly A's with a few B's nothing below. She is in 4th grade. However, I use to homeschool her and I am familiar with the STAAR testing method as we had access to the questions and method of it in homeschool and it is hard! I remember it was hard for her to get many right, heck it was even hard for me too. I feel like they are threatening but that is not right to do that. She has already taken it but they haven't given individual results yet. The part that pisses me off most is she is doubting herself and really beleives this. I tell her not to worry about it but she is convinced she will be haeld back regardless of her good grades.
