15. I went through tenth grade, graduated by exam (CHSPE), turned 16 during the summer, and started college that fall.

I was 18 (no skipping grades, no staying back).

17. Was still 17 when first semester of college was over.
Started kindergarten at age 4--the age cut off in that town was December 30.

17. My birthday is right at the beginning of the school year so I wasn't that much younger than most of my classmates.

I graduated at age 17 in May 1971. I started first grade at the age of five. There was no kindergarten.

Mom had three children; I am oldest and my brother was born eighteen months after me. Our youngest brother was five years younger than me. Mom was busy. I always tell her (jokingly) that she sent me off to school that young to get at least one child out of the house for a day. LOL

However, it was the normal thing done around here back then.

16. I skipped third grade and was put in a group called MGM, which stood for Mentally Gifted Minors. Naturally we were taunted and called Mentally Gifted Morons. Good times. Lol

I just turned 18 when I graduated. I had one week of it after I turned 18 and I can remember only taking like two finals (one of which I thought was during the last day of classes for seniors.)
