ORLANDO, Fla. -- Residents near a local middle school said they find it hard to believe that no one knew about the World War II bombing range the school was built on.
The Army Corps of Engineers detonated 400 pounds of explosives found on the school property on Saturday.

The Odyssey Middle School and homes were built on a WWII bombing range. The army continues to find live ammunition throughout the neighborhood. I'm shocked that Oldyssey Middle School remains open and that the parents continue to send their children to a school that could explode.
