Starting a sentence with a conjunction results in an incomplete sentence. An incomplete sentence represents a poor grammatical choice and would have resulted in an immediate F in my high school English class.

The word 'educators' modifies the noun 'fault', yet educators contains no possession-indicating apostrophe. More than one educator may be a fault, but they too lack the possession indicator.

Conventions on the internet are a bit different from formal writing. In any case I don't teach writing. (And for good reason.)

I'd like to see a semester in high school studying the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.

I agree, one unit in Civics/Gov is simply not enough for American political philosophy.
