My son used Kahn Academy. com when he was struggling with calculus. It helped him. It is free, I don't know if you can print worksheets, everything was online that he did, tracks his progress also. It had all levels of math. There is a sticky thread on this forum for educational help, online sources, check that out.

Kahn is great. If you were looking for something she could start now and finish over the summer, Teaching Texbooks is very good. I believe there is an online version; otherwise, it's disks that you put into the computer. My kids have used it for algebra and it's user-friendly and explains things well.

It’s Khan Academy. We used it to keep up over the summer. My son’s teacher recommended it and he did great with it.

I think the Kahn Academy "inventor" should get one of those McArthur "genius" grants. Imagine all the work that went into putting all that up online. And it's all free! I guess there are other free math-help sites, but Kahn goes beyond math, doesn't it? Anyway, it's very impressive.

The guy that started Kahn Academy did get a grant. I found out about Kahn Academy on a 60 Minutes segment, the news show. The guy, last name Kahn is a math whiz and was asked to help his niece, or some close relative with math because she was struggling. He set up first some online (they didn't live nearby) stuff for niece then got a lot of requests from other students. He then set up videos on YouTube because word of mouth about how much his tutorials helped, and a lot of people were using his YouTube tutorials. Somehow he ended up with a grant from the government to start the website and has since had corporate sponsors also. On the show he showed his set up which was actually a desk in a closet in his apartment, if I am remembering correctly. Then when my son was struggling I remembered the 60 Minutes show and searched online and found the website.

Disclaimer :this is all from my memory, I didn't try to double check my memory but is probably mostly correct.
