I usually have my phone on do not disturb when im driving & only use it for music.. It drives me crazy when ppl slow down traffic because they're on their phone. If the cops actually enforced this plus no jaywalking I think we would be a bit safer. Especially the jaywalking consider theres quite a few pedestrian accidents

How about when people are so absorbed in their conversations they quit paying attention to their driving? I've driven for a living for years and in my experience, teenagers, who have kind of a bad rep as a group and are regulated to death, are actually better drivers than people in their 30s and 40s who try to do stuff like charge out of driveways into traffic without looking and turn right on red without stopping first and tailgate and speed at the same time (often with cellphones glued to their ears while they're doing all this). I think when you're 16 or 17 you're not as confident behind the wheel as you are when you're 35 and have been driving for a long time and have a lot on your mind and think you can multitask while driving more effectively than you actually can, so teens tend to be more careful. In my experience.
