I do not know that much about burges I know last year they made low on there testing(austin did better) so that sares me.
I have also been told to homeschool but I do not know where to find anything out.
so far my child is still in austin and everything as been ok not great but ok.
so does anyone know anything about burges high? and about homeschooling around here?
so far everything has been fine people are nice and the kids seem to like it, have seen some rudeness but nothing bad(walmart)just people's culture is not the same as the south not meaning thats a bad thing just different.
the food is great!!!
thanks everyone!!!
Some of the Christian bookstores had information about homeschool groups, there's also a school called "New Horizons homeschool" that does a variety of homeschool things -- both a small school and testing and tutoring for homeschooling parents -- they have a number of military families.

It depends on what you want -- you could pressure that Chapin move -- sometimes the squeaky wheels get the grease and very often in El Paso they'll just tell you something to shut you up. But insist on talking to the principal of Chapin.

The public schools that are performing badly don't want these transfers out -- they want some kids that have a chance of passing that test.

Default Austin

I just wanted to see if you had changed your mind about Austin in the past year... Austin has gotten a lot of undeserved bad press and it's a shame that it continues to be passed on. They have a new Principal who finally cares and is making a big difference and Coach Batiste, an Austin Alumni, has done GREAT things not only with his football players but the whole school!

It has gotten a lot better than it was several years ago when my son graduated!

Oh and they beat that other school up the street last Friday...
