I'm having a hard time finding a nice wedding reception venue here in El Paso. I'm trying to steer clear of the all-purpose ballrooms (think 15era) in the city. Indoor, outdoor...doesn't matter. I grew up here but just moved back after living in Albuquerque for a long time - wow- things have changed so much. SO GLAD TO BE BACK! Any ideas?

The Centennial Club on BIGGS, can do a real nice reception for you. Check them out. Other than that, maybe look at a park. or the Rose Garden?

I agree that the Centennial Club is nice.

I was out yesterday at Sierra Vista nursery. Out there en route to it just before La Union, there is a new event planning company and or center or something. It has a six domed tent type structure (it looks like a little version of the Denver airport) in the back as maybe an example or something. Sorry I didn't catch the name but you might check it out this weekend by taking a little drive. I don't know if they move that structure to different places or what.

Hey, I have an idea. I have five beautiful acres with unobstructed views of the Organ Mountains. Bring that tent over here and have a wild time. Actually, I was an event planner in SoCal before moving away and did a lot of these tent gatherings in wilderness areas for weddings. Its actually pretty neat if you like that. The caterers come in... It really does make a great wedding but it does depend on the time of the year obviously. If you need fresh lavender for your occassion, let me know the date....
