Drug violence spilling over our borders...... (El Paso, Burton: condo, live, law)

Drug violence has spread in all states except at WV and VT according to experts.
People seeking assylum to the US from Mexico is at an all time high.
Reporters, police officers and businessmen are trying to escape the escalating violence in Mexico. In Juarez alone, there have been over 500 murders this year. Much of the violence within our own borders is indeed attributed to the drug trade.

Gosh, I wonder why there are the wars over the drug trade?

It is the idiots in the US who choose to do drugs. If there were no demand, there would be no drug wars.

Heck, just let the druggies overdose and kill themselves.

It has happened to cousins of mine....and there is nothing that you can do about it if they choose not to get help...and continue to use.

One cousin was so bad off that he shot himself rather than go into drug rehab because his dad chose not to enable his habit any longer by giving him refuge.

It was a tragedy, yes, but what can you do?

Not a thing, really.

As long as humans exist on this earth, there will never be zero demand. In such a medicated society, it's a pipe dream to think otherwise!

There will always be drug wars because there is an obscene amount of cash to be made. Amounts that drive people to pure evil. And that's all because prohibition is alive and well.

Good point tstone. Plus I also believe as long as it's againts the law it will continue to be a dangerous game. Eventhough i don't condone drugs or drug usage, that's just the way it is.
