County employees are doing our town and our future a DISSERVICE. WAKE UP EL PASO! This makes me want to check the dollar amount on campaign contributions from the Simon Group...

EL PASO -- The future of an upscale shopping center at the site of the old Farah building is uncertain after County Commissioners Court voted to deny a tax incentive plan for the developer on Monday.

Default Disappointed

I agree....this greatly would have helped put El Paso on some footing with at least ABQ. now that this was voted down, who would want to come here to try to develop that property or any other. So now we have a lingering eyesore. And you have to think with the current investigations where/what was the motivation? Everything is now suspect.

As an outsider looking in, can anyone tell me what political affiliation the 3 NO votes have, and the 1 YES vote have?

Does "himself" "himself" "himself" "the people of El Paso" count as answering your question?

You did --- I figured it would go through since so many of the "insiders" wanted it. I wonder when they'll give some tax incentives to just plain ordinary home owners.
