Default El Paso/Juarez at night -satellite photo

Image Viewer

I love the twinkling Juarez lights seen from I-10 near Basset. It looks even more impressive from space.

All that's missing from this photo is the mountain star.

I typically arrive in El Paso late at night after a long drive. After my Van Horn rest stop, my first indication that I'm "home" is seeing the star far off in the distance, getting bigger as I get closer, then going to 3 lanes at George Dieter, then the Juarez lights, and then the Wells Fargo building lit up with a Christmas tree or US flag pattern.

what also looks awesome is landing in El Paso coming from over downtown in a plane. It's an awesome sight to see El paso at night on an airplane.
