I don't know about All of them going to thomason but i've always been a brick and motar tax dollar person and not a welfare and food stamp tax dollar person. So keep building the infrustructure projects like the 5 billion tax dollars at Ft. Bliss and a loop freeway via transmountain rd thru NE and other brick and motar projects.

Yeap federal tax dollars from the Bracc.

I wonder if they want to create something simular to San Antonio's ''South Texas Medical Center'' as it has 45 medical institutions with medical, dental and nursing schools and 12 hospitals along with 5 specialty institutions etc. as that's my thought.

Welcome to the South Texas Medical Center

Oh yes, that good news keep coming in! 154 million for the Thomason hospital expansion for all the uninsured shooting victims whe're obligated to take care of, and another 120 million for a children's hospital expansion so the Mexicans can come here and deliver their babies to insure they have U.S. citizenship. Perhaps they should call it the "Illegal Immigrant Baby Wing. Such good news! Things are really looking up!

"We're not a small town anymore," Escobar said. "We're a thriving metropolitan area, and we need to provide for the needs of the residents in such an area."
I need some more restaurants that are clean and serve good food. Can't even find a decent McDonlalds - the one on Resler and Redd is gross. I saw two stacks of new packages of buns sitting outside the back door this morning. Just sitting there. Two crows just havin' at the buns and pooping down the side. Whaddya think happened to those buns.... I'm guessin' LUNCH!

Also need more and better shopping and a 24-hour vet. I could go on. The prospect of El Paso beinging lifted out of its self-inflicted mediocrity makes my toes tingle. I'm here for a while. I need this kind of hope even if it might be just a pipe dream, it's still something to hold on to.

If they succeed in bringin the number of people they're talking about and the caliber of professionals they are talking about, those folks will never settle for the half-assed way of life that is common in these here parts. Somthin's going to have to give.

The Juarez drug cartel victims are not a good thing for Thomason at all. In Juarez, they will show up at the hospitals and "finish the job" and one of these days that will happen. For some reason, the safety and lives of patients at Thomason comes second. Who would want to have to pass through all kinds of armed security and police just to visit a sick relative?

And a whole lot of people are feeling maxed out, and tax increases are getting to be less and less popular. Why should citizens have to lose their homes because the taxes have become so unreasonable? What's really bad is that many from the other side of the border actually have USA citizenship for having been born at Thomason but prefer to not contribute to the taxes here and so choose to live in Juarez where they pay no taxes.
