What school did you graduate from? Will I be impressed?
George Washinton didn't graduate from any university. I suppose that makes him stupid in your eyes.
Niether did Abe Lincoln.
But you can't help yourself when it comes to calling people idiots.
If you sit on your butt on Nov. 2 it might be a service to America.
The problem isn't about going to Yale University or not, or a school of that caliber. The problem is the idea that having a strong education and stressing good education (or hell believing in Science) is somehow looked down upon as being elitist, why being completely ignorant is celebrated.

Calling someone an idiot has nothing to do with their education and everything to do with their personal choices and judgement.
When you've made your life work a crusade to abolish masturbation, when you repeatedly lie about your educational background, when you use campaign funds for personal living expenses, when you are a candidate for a major party and you don't think it's a problem that you have to issue the statement "I am not a witch," and when you don't pay your bills....well....I think that shows a real lack of good judgement--something that should be EXPECTED in an elected official. That's why she's an idiot. I could care less if she was just a high school grad if she used her brain, told the truth, and made responsible choices.
And the poster above is right--we are dealing with complex problems in this country that require intelligence, logic and reason to solve. Glorifying a lack of education, and dumbing down America is a dangerous move under the best of circumstances--now it could be disastrous.

Absolutely right. Pat Buchanan called David Corn an "elitist" the other day when Corn said that he preferred candidates who have completed college. It seems like a lot of conservatives today are waging a war on education and intelligence. If you've got a four-year degree, you risk being called an elitist.
