The Tea Party hasn't mentioned ANYTHING about outsourcing which will start again now that Republicans are getting a foot hold and CEO's are back in complete power. You've bought into all of the propaganda that Fox News, Glenn Beck, Rush Limabaugh, Bill O'Reilly, Sarah Palin, etc. have been spewing and they are being paid fortunes by the special interest groups to spew this B.S. You have bought into it, hook, line, and sinker.

It was W who put our country at its economic knees and led us into a war under false pretenses. 9/11 happened on his watch and he and Brownie ignored New Orleans during their Katrina disaster. Bank corruption and the white collar crimes all were under the Republican controlled house & congress. After all of the damage that W did you expect Obama and the Dems to fix it in two years ?!? So now you go and vote for the very people who put us into this mess in the first place.

A conservative is a man with two perfectly good legs who, however, has never learned to walk forward. Franklin D. Roosevelt, radio address, Oct. 26, 1939 ...
while there is some truth here, it is a huge load of hogwash overall. democrats are not saints. they have just as much corruption in their ranks as the republicans do.

as for bringing the country to it knees economically, again hogwash. obama and the democrats have outspent bush by a huge amount and few people are complaining about that. it took the republicrats four years to add $3 trillion to the debt, it too the democrats less than two years to add the same amount to the debt.

as for the was, dont forget that the democrats went along with the wars at first, and when they had the power, they did NOTHING to stop them. so you cant blame bush alone for the wars. the democrats had the same intelligence as much as two years earlier.

as for katrina, lets do some looking at the timeline shall we? ray nagin knew the hurricane was heading for the area, and would be a strong cat 3 if not a cat 4 storm when it hit the area, and he knew that for 7 days, and he did NOTHING. by the time he ordered a mandatory evacuation, it was pretty much too late to get everyone out. he even let all the school buses that could have been used to get the people out sit and do nothing.

just before the hurricane hit, bush called governor blanco and asked her to declare a state of emergency so that fema could get supplies to the people who were going to need them quickly, and she refused to do so. just for your edification, in order for the federal government to help out in an emergency situation in a state, the state governor has to ask for help. because of the posse cumitatus act, the federal government cannot deploy federal aid until invited in by the state.

just hours after the hurricane had passed, and conditions allowed, the coast guard was on scene with helicopters pulling people out of the danger zones and getting them to safety. what did they get for this? shot at by the residents, and yet they still went in and rescued as man people as they could. in the same hours that the coast guard was pulling people from danger, fema was bringing supplies like food, water, blankets, etc. but they were blocked in their efforts to do so.

and by the way, people complain about bush doing a fly over of the area shortly after the storm had passed, but what was he supposed to do, land at the airport? and do what? look around? just what exactly was he supposed to do? and by the way he did land at that airport a few days later when things had calmed down a bit.

and you ***** about bush and katrina, but how much bitching did you do about obama and his response to the oil spill? i know you went after BP, but how about obama? he sat on his hands for 11 days before he much of anything about the spill, and when he did start to do something it was more to prevent the states from doing what they needed to do to protect the coast line and beaches rather than help.

and about the democrats trying to pass these vast tax cuts, where was the bill for this? why was the bill not brought up in the house for a vote? remember that is where anything to do with taxes needs to originate anyway. so where was the bill? if the democrats wanted these tax cuts so badly, they could have passed them without the republicans, and they didnt.

At least Bush changed course and brought in the military to deal with katrina. Obama just sat around waiting on BP to stop the oil spill.

The "white collar crime" that you refer to (Enron, WorldCom) was perpetrated during the Clinton Administration. It was prosecuted by the Bush Administration.

9/11 happened on his watch

Wow. Still pulling that one out?

9/11 occurred less than 8 months into his administration. Obama and his administration have had more TWICE that time, plus a democrat majority in the House AND Senate and things are getting WORSE, not better. Their supporters claim he hasn't had "enough time" and that he "inherited the deficit"... spin. All the 9/11 attackers entered this country under Clinton's watch. ALL of them. Bush "inherited" them and he "didn't have enough time". For those of you too young to remember, the country was also headed into a recession in 1999. Clinton pretended to balance the budget, but left spending measures sitting on the desk for Bush to sign. Bush did a lot of good for this country. He wasn't perfect and spent too much time compromising with Dems, imo. He got the blame for everything that didn't go 100% right (think Kennedy's NCLB) but always stood tall and presidential.

It was nice to have an adult in the White House for 8 years. I look forward to the promise of getting another one in 2012.

the use of your definition or should I say FDRs definition is getting a little over used. See if you can come up with something new? It was clever the first time it was used, now it is like a old boring commercial most of us mute.

Oh, and do you really think Bush had anything to do with 9/11? I find a statement like that almost repulsive and a total insult, regardless of who is our commander in chief at the time.. In case you have forgotten, 9/11 occurred prior to any involvement in the mid east.

Oh let's not forget how Clinton handled the first attempted bombing on the WTC in 94.

What did he do?

Not a damn thing & maybe, just maybe if he did act those two towers could have been saved along with the 3,000+ lives lost.
