Well, Ron Paul did not even mention the " No Blacks" restrictions or any restrictions.

Both Republicans and Democrats/Liberals love to scream about Rights and Freedoms and Democracy. But all they ever seem to do is puch for and campaign for Laws and Ploicies that oppress, restrict and marginalize people and specific groups of people. And they love to demonize them, too.

Both parties are an embarrassment.

i think businesses that would refuse black customers are the minority here but that's just me.

srsly, americans overreact to the racism thing to the extreme. can you imagine the fall out of a business refused to cater to such a large group like blacks. it would be all over the news. prolly big protests outside and stuff. lotsa ppl boycotting it.

then again maybe it would get more business from racists. all the free publicity. maybe i should try tihs

You seem to miss the point of this, you don't have to LIKE what the other person is doing, you just shouldn't be wanting to stop them through laws.

Do you support banning smoking in restaurants?
Of course not.

Removal of guns from the public
Abortion on demand
Eugenics
Euthanasia
State run banks
State run media
State run healthcare
Antisemitism
Censorship

Those are just a few of the things that the Nazis stood for. Now, if you're going to be intellectually honest, tell me if those ideals match up with the modern day far left or far right.
Actually, with the exception of the Abortion issue, both the Far Right and far Left are well respresented, in that list.

Ummm..Ron Paul was the one answering the questions just like Sarah Palin. It's nobodys fault but their own that they're dopes. Nobody forced them to be morons.

Taboo?? In the U.S. we had this little thing that went on for about 400 years called slavery followed by many more years of racial segregation. There are lots of books about it or you can try the magic google machine. Happy trails.

Not to get to deep but if more people understood the real origin of the human species, race would not be an issue. We're all Africans, migration, climate and landscape caused the minor physical differences that we see in skin tones and physical features. All human DNA is virtually identical.

What you seem to favor is restricting others private property rights to favor your civil rights, and that is wrong.
Your 'right' to be served a beer shouldn't trump my property rights to serve whomever I like.

Why couldn't you just go to some other restaurant? Why would you WANT to go to a place that doesn't want you?

You're being dishonest. Conservatives stand for none of those issues that I listed, yet liberals not only support those things, they campaign with them as part of their platform.

As much as I like Ron Paul's views on issues such as foreign intervention and the war on drugs, Paul's disdain for the Civil Rights Act is one of about 5 major reasons that I couldn't vote for the man.

That's statism. They felt that statism was the only way to keep everything old fashioned, traditional, and orthodox which is what I call conservative.
