The only reason Palin is 3rd in the RCP PoP is because there was one poll where Giuliani was asked about and he was first... and it's not clear that he is even going to be running (I highly, highly doubt it).

Other than that one poll, for the most part, Palin has been running a close second to Romney in most polls included and even tied him in one poll... and she is on an upward trend.
Oh we can have a debate about methodology I suppose. That wasn't the other poster's point, however.

Like I said, I personally don't see Palin running because she has too much baggage. And if she did run, it would spell trouble for the GOP's run to reclaim the White House. I know people on this forum and in this country love her, but she is way too polarizing, even among GOP primary voters.

And George W. Bush was #1 in the polls throughout 1999.

Also, the concept that they are "way behind" romney is kind of ridiculous.

Ron Paul hasn't got a chance to win the nomination. The GOP will not allow it. he will run as an independant once again and cause Obama to win 4 more years. so save your money.

In politics, if you are fourth you are not the running for much of anything. Ron Paul's campaign will have to have a strong showing in the early primaries or else support and MONEY will plumment and he'll be out of the campaign by next Spring.

I don't disagree with you, but that won't stop me from writing his name in at the voting booth anyway

and if there is a place on your ballot to do that you have every right as a citizen to support whomever you want. I am the type that can't bring myself to waste a vote or give someone I can't stand an extra vote by doing what you will do, but I give you credit for standing up for what you believe in.
