Doesn't matter because the dems/left/unions fell short of the goal, the reason for spending $20+ million, the reason for sending in the jack boots from across the country. The battle was for control of the Senate...the GOP still has it.

Remember now, the GOP could get those seats back next week.

I imagine you do know Kapanke was in a dem-lite district and Hopper barely lost even with all his personal issues.

There is no amount of spin that can take away the well-deserved defeat of the Left/unions/dems at the hands of the voters...for a third time.

Can't wait for the responses.
2 less Republicans than there were yesterday. It would have been a victory for democrats if only one had lost his seat. The big one will come next year when Walker gets recalled.

I mean really....how many times do the Left's schemes and dreams have to come crashing down around for them to get it?

First, they said the courts would overturn the CB bill - not happening.

Then they said the Supreme Court race was a referendum on Walker - they lost that.

Next they said the recall races were one more referendum on Walker and the GOP and the goal was to take control of the Senate - came up SHORT.

Meanwhile, Walker and the GOP have gotten every piece of "reform" legislation passed into law.

They should just admit defeat and try and save the state for obama.

There’s no way to sugar-coat it: Unions and Dems failed in their objective as they defined it, which was to take back the state senate, put the brakes on Scott Walker’s agenda, and let the nation know that elected officials daring to roll back public employee bargaining rights would face dire electoral consequences.
Oh yes, they most certainly did.

That's pretty good, I'll give it a robust 7 of 10. Not quite as good as your argument that "The Undefeated" was a box-office success, but still solid. Nice touch with the "barely lost" - why, that's almost as good as winning, right? On the other hand, "We only lost 2 seats in the recall, go us!" is a pretty hard sell.

I know it is amazing how Republicans are making lemonade out of lemons on this one. It is fun to watch though.

Lol, sanrene. It's so much fun watching the libbies be in so much denial. Despite all these losses, they STILL think that the Dems are going to landslide Walker and the WI GOP......again!

Yeah, you wish.

That must be why the dems/libs/unions are absolutely, 100% deflated today.

Besides, we have a great shot of winning at least one of the seats back and since they GOP still has the majority the goons were after, throwing millions of dollars and thousands of bodies in a crushing get out the vote campaign....the voters rewarded the GOP with the win.

Surely you know the goal of the unions/left...right?

Win back the Senate, stop Walker/GOP agenda, send a message to other GOP like minded legislatures that the unions mean business and will exact electoral defeat on you if you mess with them.............NONE of the above came to fruition.

Exactly the opposite.

This is the hill the unions/Left decided to make a last stand..and the results couldn't have turned out better.

No, really - it's a monster victory for dems! Every time a Walker agenda item passes by only 17-16 instead of 19-14, they'll be celebrating like they just won the Superbowl! Champagne and caviar all around! With victories like this, who needs defeats???
