NeoCons share many of the same traits as former liberal warhawks such as LBJ. They are pro interventionalist and continue to drive the U.S. into more wars. True conservatives are anti intangilment as our forefathers wanted.

Don't be fooled by these people. They are not conservate. Rick Perry is at the forefront of the neocon movement. He may not be smart enough to know who is backing him, but it is the NeoCons.

Charles Krauthammer and William Kristol are more of the prominent NeoCon pundits. As a rule of thumb, if they like the candidate, then they probably are a neocon.

Very observant concerning Bill Kristol, his father Irving Kristol is referred to as the 'godfather of neoconservatism'. There is more to it than just foreign policy though. I am not sure Rick Perry even knows enough about foreign policy to say what his views are on it. That is not an area that he has any experience in. I do think socially he would be considered a neoconservative though.

If Perry gets the GOP nomination, I'm simply not going to vote for anyone for POTUS in 2012.

Rick Perry does not need to know what his views on Foreign Policy are, the neocons that he has started using for advisors will tell him what his views are just like they told Bush. It is no coincidence that he has been consulting with the same neocons that Bush consulted. They already own him and he probably does not even know it, but he does know that someone will need to think for him.

He's a snake, chameleon, opportunist, has an authoritarian and meglomaniacal streak, is willing to throw the American worker under the bus in favor of people who are cheap and can be easily exploited due to legal status, will probably make claims like his gubernational predecessor did as President about getting policy directives from "above," and the list goes on and on. I don't have any proof, but I strongly suspect him of being corrupt as well. To me, Perry represents everything that is wrong with the Republican Party. What happened to the party of Lincoln, T. Roosevelt, Eisenhower, and Rockefeller?

Even though Romney isn't a saint, I could begrudingly vote for him.
