these people are protesting CAPITALISM. What is the alternative? When asked...most of them could not say what they would want in place of capitalism. But the alternative is socialism/communism. Where the government runs everything. And isn't that curious?....it's the same thing OBAMA wants.

"IF" anyone considers these idiots "American" I truly pray the majority of us will see through these childish and out-of-control dopes.

Please, everyone, do a bit of listening and research. These poor, ignorant, brain-washed, "child-minded," delusional and easily led people are being used by Union heads, groups up to their eye balls in Communism agendas, etc., etc. The protestors have no idea what they are even there for and they da*n sure do not understand America and our Constitution. There are proper and legal ways to file protests that do not include such mindless damage to individuals and the filth they leave behind for someone else to clean up for starters.

I'm disgusted that we have somehow raised such generations...America is much better than that.

Some of those kids out there probably are anticapitalist, but I think a significant chunk are protesting big business calling all the shots in government, and it's being labeled anticapitalist by the msm. There's a difference. If they can get themselves organized and sort out a cohesive message, I think that perception will change.

I'm a capitalist--I'm a small business owner--but my interests aren't the same as a multinational corporation. I don't think one group of interests should call all the shots because they can buy the votes.

They are protesting the fact that 1% control all things that affect Americans, and much of the rest of the World.

Corporate greed another. If it wasn't obvious before it has become so after the Koch bothers backed tea party struck their colors against the working class and our current leadership is totally ineffective and nonsupportive.

The working people of America have lost their voice.

These protests that are now happening across the country will only be the beginning. As people become more desperate to care for themselves and provide for their families we will see and increase in crimes of necessity and more and violent protests. The corporate owned news media is doing it best to play it down and discredit the protest. Where is the voice of the people? What politician will stand for the rights of the working man? There is none and so the people must be their own advocate and voice.

Maybe part of their agenda is "hooking up"? A protest is a great place to meet like minded people of the opposite sex!

Just listen to them when interviewed by the press and asked the question of "what are you protesting." Most cannot answer coherently and some have said "Destroy Capitalism." BO's policies are designed to do the latter. Again, just listen to him and his "Czars." Blatent agenda which is designed to lead to Socialism and then down the slope to Communism. If you understand the English language and listen...you can't miss it!

We will just have to give more tax breaks to the wealthy (I mean "job creators") then.

That's the point--big business on an international level is calling all the shots in our government, and governments around the world. That's the 1%--not some guy with a successful car dealership in Dallas, or a small manufacturer in New York. They may be wealthy, but they're not the mega wealthy who are dumping millions upon millions of dollars into campaigns. I don't hear these kids saying that all business is wrong--just the fact that big business has too much power in government.

How can you have a country and a government for the people and by the people when it is entirely infested with individuals hell bent on protecting the interests of an extreme minority of the population? Our entire government from top down has been poisoned, we have no where else to turn except the streets now and to exercise our damn rights to protest. Big banks and corporate interests represent a far, far greater threat to American democracy than supposed 'terrorists' half way around the world.

Read some history.............these are the rhetorical rants that communist revolutions are made of.

Just sayin'....be careful folks, you just might get too much of what you want.

YC has spoken.......
